A New Frontier

 

I'm enjoying learning how to use watercolor pencils and watercolor pastels. 

 

It is a fun cross between drawing and painting, a nice option for those of us who can not make up their mind or just like too many things at once. It reminds me of the watercolor coloring books my mom got for us children.  A paintbrush and water were used to 'paint' pictures that had the dry paint on the page only needing the little artist's touch of water to bring it to life. 

 

I wonder if anyone else remembers using those watercolor books as a child?
