Lake George
The last day of the Upper Hudson Valley Watercolor Society workshop, taught by Mel Stabin, we got to paint outside at Lake George. A fellow member arranged for us to use the upper deck of a lake side restaurant that had a great view.

an old fashioned steamboat full of passengers would sail by playing old time calliope music in case things got dull
I loved this.
This double water jug was hanging off Joyce's outdoor easel that she made and hour before class.
Joyce is the group's president.
for some reason the deck and lawn was decorated with paper mache sculptures
it helped keep things surreal
